Photography Philosophy
My goal is to create images that not only tell a story, but also become
reminders of the feelings experienced in the moments they picture.
For weddings in particular, I strive to capture the emotions of the day
and the chemistry between the bride and groom while drawing as little
attention as possible to myself.

Biography
My interest in photography began 12 years ago as a hobby. It soon became more
and by my freshman year in college I began shooting professionally. My first sports
photography
jobs were with
the University of North Carolina Athletic Department
and the Durham Bulls. I continue to work for them today in addition to USA Baseball.
My images appear on baseball cards and in media guides, game programs, and other
materials.
I am now primarily a wedding and family portrait photographer who travels throughout
North Carolina. I frequently shoot in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area as well as
around Boone and Wilmington.
